Hi

Remember how you used duct tape to replace a broken watch band? Or used a rubber band as a pencil case? Maybe you kept your jacket closed with a twist tie, or taped a light bulb to the wall.

I bet you were proud of your own ingeniousness. Now time has come to show off a little. For my finals at the Design Academy in Eindhoven I am looking for those instant solutions. You can (e-)mail me any picture of any solution.

Thank you,

Chris Kabel.

Chris...

Your project sounds great, my compliments...

However, I do not have a picture of this instant solution, but it should be easy for you to reconstruct it yourself:

One day I needed to watch the news on tv (but had forgotten my spectacles) I took a plastic bottle cap, punched a small hole in the center with my pocket knife, and placed the thing in front of my eye... voila - like a pinhole camera - I could see clearly without proper glasses.

ps.: remove the circular soft gasket inside the cap prior to punching (and use).
